Wild Pennyroyal
Scientific name: Piloblephis rigida
This species of pennyroyal is almost exclusively endemic to Florida. Outside of Florida, it is found only in extremely southeast Georgia. This perennial likes sun and sandy soil that is neither wet nor extremely dry to soil that experiences relatively long very dry periods. Flowers are white and light purple. The leaves can be dried and brewed into a minty tea. This is not to be confused with European pennyroyal, Mentha pulegium.
Currently on sale because they aren't doing as well in these pots and they need to get in the ground.
