Elegant/Pinkscale Gayfeather/Blazing Star

This perennial is native to North Florida and parts of North Central Florida, including Alachua County. It likes sun and soil that is somewhat moist without flooding to soil that experiences somewhat long very dry periods. The flowers are more white or light lavender than other blazing stars (members of the Liatris genus).
